Commencement: May 13, 2024
Hourly Rate: $45 + Super 

Two opportunities available, with the potential to extend to permanency if the right candidate:
12 Month Duration: Monday to Friday, Full time hours
7 Month Duration: Work a 7-day fortnight alternating between 4-day and 3-day weeks, with Monday and Friday as core coverage, with flexibility provided for other days.

Located in their Maitland office, our client is seeking two customer service professionals to join their team. One role is for an initial 7-month duration, and the other for a 12 month duration, both roles have the view to extend to a permanent role for the right person. 
  
You will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional service to their diverse customer base, focusing on complex and vulnerable customers in the Community Services sector. 
  
You will be the first point of contact, managing high-volume customer queries over the phone. Your responsibilities will include providing advice on account enquiries, payments, repairs & maintenance and tenancy management issues whilst ensuring a customer-centric approach.
  
You will be experienced and highly resilient, with a background in customer service roles and experience in community service. Responsibilities include:
  • Provide accurate and timely information to customer inquiries
  • Conduct follow-up calls and emails to keep customers informed of progress.
  • Manage appointment scheduling, and handle administrative tasks.
  • Provide advice, process payments, and manage repairs and maintenance inquiries
  • Adhering to best practices, policies, and procedures.
The successful candidate will have:
  • Proven experience in customer service in a high-volume work environment
  • Ability to relate to people from diverse social and cultural backgrounds
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage sensitive issues
  • Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office software
