About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Marketing and Communications Business Partner who will build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across the organisation to foster collaboration between the Marketing and Communications team and internal HMRI partners. The role will support the successful management of projects, timelines, and resources to achieve business objectives and ensure they align with broader strategic priorities.  

Key Duties:

  • Facilitate clear and effective communication between the Marketing and Communications Team and internal HMRI partners to qualify marketing and communication requirements with partners, setting clear expectations for all stakeholders involved

  • Analyse data and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing efforts and make data-driven decisions and communicate outcomes to relevant partners

  • Adapt marketing strategies and approaches as needed in response to changes in the medical research landscape

  • Negotiate agreements, budgets, and priorities between internal stakeholders and the Marketing and Communications Team

About you

A curious and engaging communicator, the successful candidate will have a knack for building rapport and meaningful relationships with a diverse stakeholder group. You will enjoy the variety of working on numerous projects at once, with competing priorities and deadlines. Highly organised with a commitment to delivering excellent customer service will be vital to your success.

Other key skills and attributes:

  • Adaptable and energetic, with the ability to prioritise competing demands effectively whilst remaining calm under pressure

  • An adept problem solver with well-developed negotiation skills

  • 3+ years experience in marketing and/or communications roles, with a strong account management focus with either internal or external clients (agency experience desirable)

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field is highly regarded
