About the opportunity

Based from the Newcastle (NSW) Base Camp of Reflections Holidays and reporting to the CEO, as an integral member of the Executive Leadership team, the Executive Manager – Park Operations will work collaboratively in setting the organizational vision and, importantly, leading the execution of the operational growth strategy. 

The position oversees company operations and productivity of a 400 strong workforce, and is the driver of creating a highly inclusive culture that ensures team members can thrive and organizational goals are achieved. 

Additional key elements of the position include:

  • Customer Excellence: Steering a relentless focus on customer experience; implementing initiatives and processes to consistently deliver exceptional service and satisfaction.

  • Operational Efficiency: Being the catalyst in making diverse functions and teams gel seamlessly; encouraging cross-functional collaboration and synergy.

  • Resource Management: Optimizing resource allocation; including people, equipment and facilities to maximise efficiency.

  • Financial Management: Identifying cost-saving opportunities and implementing measures to ensure financial sustainability and profit growth for reinvestment. 

About you

The Executive Manager – Park Operations we are seeking will be known as an exceptional communicator and be naturally motivated to connect with operational teams through visible leadership.  To achieve this, regular travel across the NSW footprint of Reflections Holidays’ parks will be something you embrace.

Additional experience and qualities we are seeking include:

  • Proven experience in a senior operational leadership role within the tourism or hospitality industry in an organisation with geographically dispersed teams.

  • Demonstrated commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences with a focus on driving customer satisfaction and loyalty.

  • In-depth understanding of tourism industry dynamics, trends, and challenges.

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate strategies into practical, achievable plans.

  • Experience in driving process improvements and operational excellence.

  • Financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets effectively.

  • Familiarity with emerging technologies and their application in the tourism sector.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field, or the equivalent in experience in senior leadership positions.
