In order cover a period of leave, our client, a high profile, and local employer of choice based in Kooragang Island is seeking a casual on hire Technical Administrator to join their team for a 6-month period! For the right person, either full time or part time hours are of offer.
  
The role will be based within the Asset and Infrastructure (A&I) and Maintenance and Services team the and the role purpose will be to provide effective administrative support to these teams, including technical engineering and maintenance document and record management
  
General duties will include:

  • Coordinate the review, update and development of maintenance documents, procedures, user guides, user guides, and other content as required

  • Maintain a technical document library including document control and development of a process to receipt, store and search for technical documents

  • Record management including maintaining bill of materials and parts database

  • Digitisation of hard copy procedures

  • Manage and monitor the filing, electronic document storage and archiving of documentation and records

  • Assist with preparing professional documents, reports and presentations

  • Meeting coordination, diary management and event coordination

  • Ad hoc general administration and finance support tasks

To be considered you will bring:

  • Experience working in an administration support role within an Engineering, Maintenance or heavy Industry organisation

  • Experience with technical documentation, including the review, update and development of technical maintenance documentation, records, and libraries

  • Experience working with Maintenance information management systems and databases

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills including the ability to manage multiple priorities and support several stakeholders

  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

  • Great verbal and written communication skills

  • Advanced skills in Office software including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
