Part-time employees can work anywhere up to 38 hours per week but normally have set days and hours and are entitled to all the normal leave benefits.
People employed in a temporary roleare usually employed for a certain agreed period or project and can be on a full-time or part-time basis. As a temporary employee, you are entitled to the same benefits as a casual employee, which means you receive a loading on top of your normal wage. This loading is there to cover you for any sick or personal leave you may need to take during the course of your temporary employment.
