About the opportunity
We are seeking a capable and proactive Practice Manager to support and lead the administrative function. This role is vital in maintaining smooth daily operations, coordinating administrative workflows, and ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing. The Practice Manager will also support compliance, staff supervision, and client service quality across the organisation.
Key responsibilities
Oversee and coordinate the daily administration function to ensure seamless operations
Lead and supervise the admin team, including onboarding, training, and performance management
Process end-to-end fortnightly payroll, ensuring compliance with award conditions, tax, and superannuation
Maintain and improve office systems, procedures, and record-keeping practices
Ensure compliance with WHS standards and SafeWork NSW requirements
Support recruitment activities including job advertisement creation, shortlisting, and onboarding
Collaborate with external stakeholders, including contractors and clients
Prepare and assist with financial reporting and identify opportunities for cost efficiencies alongside the external Bookkeeper
Manage client inquiries, maintain confidential records, and support service quality improvements
Manage procurement, supplies, and equipment inventory alongside ad hoc administration support

Previous experience in a similar office or practice management role within a service-based industry
Experience in managing a payroll of up to 50 employees end-to-end (SCHADS Award knowledge desirable)
Familiarity with compliance, WHS, and administrative best practices
Excellent communication and team leadership skills
