Peoplefusion is partnering with a busy and well-established ophthalmology practice operating across multiple Hunter region clinics. We are seeking a hands-on and patient-focused Clinic Assistant to join the team on a temporary basis initially, with a genuine pathway to permanency.

This is a patient-facing role supporting doctors and clinical staff with screening, testing, imaging, and day-to-day clinic operations. • Capture images using specialised ophthalmic cameras and equipment

  • Record patient histories and results accurately using Genie software

  • Explain procedures clearly and reassure anxious patients

  • Maintain clinic setup, cleanliness, and equipment readiness

  • Work closely with the Ophthalmologists and clinic staff to ensure smooth operations

Work Schedule & Locations

Whilst you will initially be based at Waratah for training, you will be rostered between clinics at Waratah, Belmont and East Maitland and have flexibility to work longer days with some early morning starts.

  • High attention to detail and ability to follow procedures

  • Flexible and adaptable to changing clinic needs
