Job Description

Are you the game changer that our client needs?

We are seeking several results-driven recruiters to bring their hunger and enthusiasm to an in-house team for a national organisation currently transitioning to a more innovative and proactive talent management approach.

The roles will suit candidates who still want the rush of high-volume recruitment but crave the opportunity to become a subject matter specialist and play a role in the ongoing success of an organisation.

Our client provides support services to people with disability and children and young people in out of home care. They have recently undertaken a rebranding exercise and are seeking Recruitment Advisors who can leverage this momentum into successful talent attraction campaigns.

As a Recruitment Advisor you will focus on identifying needs in discussion with front-line operational staff, sourcing talent, shortlisting to hiring managers, as well as managing the final selection and offer stage. Throughout the process you will be engaged with hiring managers and candidates ensuring that they are kept informed of progress.

Whilst initially maintaining business as usual, these roles will evolve as the organisation transitions to more effective ways to source, attract and engage candidates.

The roles will also be supported by an experienced compliance team who manage the probity and contract co-ordination, therefore being able to hand-over and work collaboratively with an established team and processes is a must.

Attending external resourcing efforts such as graduate or careers fairs may also form part of the role, so you will need to be confident and comfortable to present in public forums and authentically promote our client to potential candidates.

To succeed you will possess:

  • Minimum 2 + years' experience in similar role
  • Demonstrated track record in recruiting a variety of roles
  • Demonstrated ability to implement talent management strategies which suit an organisation's needs
  • Extensive experience with progressive recruitment and talent management systems, approaches, technologies and methodologies
  • Strong customer service orientation and a 'can-do' attitude
  • Demonstrated ability to work as a team
  • Ability to work in proactive and reactive modes
  • Relevant degree qualification desirable
  • Knowledge of the Human Services sector (desirable).

An attractive remuneration package with the opportunity to access salary packaging is available to candidates who not only demonstrate relevant experience and skills but also a genuine commitment to our client's values of equality and delivering meaningful outcomes for people living with disability.

Candidates are encouraged to apply immediately and will be assessed and interviewed upon application. Casual on-hire, short term contracts and permanent positions available.

Apply now or call 02 4927 2009 for a confidential discussion.
