Take advantage of this great opportunity to provide leadership, direction and inspiration to the Development Services Group by planning and implementing the Port Stephens community's priorities to enable balanced growth.

You'll champion continuous improvement through Business Excellence. A high level of strategic financial vision, commercial business acumen and a broad workforce management capability is essential, as is your ability to lead dynamic change in a political environment to ensure our fitness for the future.

You'll deliver through an authentic leadership style combined with vision to drive overall accountability for the group's output, customer responsiveness and team achievements of some of the most visible aspects of Council.

As a member of the Executive Team you will play a key role in the development of the organisation's vision and strategic direction. Highly desirable will be your ability to add tactical input into Port Stephen's Council land use planning and enhancement of their natural resource assets in the overall utilisation of their geographical footprint.
