Our client, a world class planning & logistics organisation, are seeking a highly competent and experienced Executive Assistant to undertake a maternity leave contract until March 2018. Based out of their modern offices in Newcastle, you will be responsible for providing high level support to a team of four executives and will play an integral role in the seamless operation of the business.
The key responsibilities of the position are as follows;
- Diary management
- Preparation of paperwork for board and committee meetings
- Event coordination
- General liaison with the Corporate Services team
- Ad-hoc administration.
To be successful in the role, you will possess the following;
- Extensive experience supporting high-level executives
- The ability to forward plan, coordinate a team and ensure deadlines are met
- Strong attention to detail
- Well-developed time management and organisational skills.
Within this organisation and position, there is a strong focus on corporate governance and therefore demonstrated experience and understanding of these frameworks and processes is paramount. It is essential that you also have a solid background in the preparation and management of committee meetings and papers.
