Job Description

Our client, a sought-after local Government organisation is seeking a temporary staff member to assist in providing administrative support to the WHS Manager in meeting Council's obligations to provide a safe and healthy working environment.  An immediate start is available, and we are seeking someone for 25hrs per week, Monday to Friday.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to WHS Manager

  • Provide accurate and consistent WHS information and assistance to staff and customers by resolving enquiries or referring to relevant staff as appropriate.

  • Complete tasks that require specialised technical/administrative skills.

  • Process accounts payable. 

  • Manages, provides advice and support to the Contractor Management System.

  • Provision of administrative support to the Return-to-Work Coordinator and the Health and Wellness Program. 

Skillset sought

  • Tertiary qualification in WHS or equivalent experience is desirable

  • Advanced computer literacy in MS Office programs.

  • Proven ability to produce high quality, accurate, written reports and presentation material in a timely manner.
