About the Role
As the Contracts & Tender Specialist, you’ll be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of tenders and contracts. From coordinating documentation and submissions through to administration and compliance, this role will see you working closely with teams across Australia and internationally. It’s a key position that supports commercial outcomes, ensures efficient processes, and strengthens client partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end tender processes, including documentation, evaluation, and submissions
Collaborate with technical and commercial teams to gather input for tender responses
Ensure tender submissions meet requirements and deadlines
Draft, review, and administer contracts, subcontracts, and service agreements
Maintain a centralised contract register and oversee renewals and compliance
Monitor contract performance and address risks or issues
Act as the primary point of contact for contract-related queries across the business
Drive continuous improvement in tendering and contract management processes
Skills and Experience
3–5 years’ experience in contracts and tender coordination, ideally within mining, construction, or heavy industry
Strong understanding of contract administration and procurement practices
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills
High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and contract management systems
Experience with ERP systems (desirable)
Familiarity with AS/NZS contract standards (desirable)
