Ampcontrol is a technology and services business in transition. Historically known for its heavy engineering capability, Ampcontrol is deliberately evolving its portfolio toward broader industrial markets, renewables, energy systems and emerging technologies. Central to this future is the strategically critical Service business that differentiates Ampcontrol in the market and deepens customer relationships.
We are now seeking a Service Product & Marketing Manager, to define, position and grow this portfolio. This is not a traditional sales role.
It is a senior commercial and marketing leadership role, focused on service definition, value articulation and market growth.
The Opportunity
In this role, you will:
Own the Service portfolio strategy, defining what Ampcontrol is best at and where it creates the most customer value.
Develop clear service propositions, packages and messaging that resonate with customers and enable sales teams.
Lead the marketing strategy for services, supporting diversification away from coal-heavy markets.
Lead product strategy and roadmap development using customer insights, industry trends and competitor analysis.
Help transition the business into renewables, energy systems and broader industrial sectors.
Work closely with Sales, Engineering, Delivery and Leadership to translate capability into commercial outcomes.
Enable value-based selling, stronger pricing logic and improved outcomes.
You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping how Ampcontrol presents its services to the market — and how customers understand, buy and engage with them.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who brings strong marketing and business leadership, with experience operating in complex, transitioning organisations.
You’ll likely have:
5+ years’ experience in product management, commercial or marketing roles within industrial, infrastructure or manufacturing sectors.
A strong ability to define, package and articulate service value.
Experience growing services or solutions-based businesses.
Confidence working across sales, delivery and technical teams.
A strategic mindset with the ability to execute practically.
Experience managing technical product portfolios and working with sales, engineering and operational teams.
Experience in industrial, infrastructure, energy or related sectors.
Strong commercial acumen and ability to analyse performance, pricing and product profitability.
Technical knowledge (electrical, engineering, mining or energy environments) is desirable, but not essential.
What matters most is your ability to translate capability into clear value and drive commercial outcomes.
