Australian Scientific Pty Ltd, a wholly Australian-owned and operated organisation based in Newcastle, has been a trusted provider of scientific and laboratory equipment, chemicals, consumables, and water quality monitoring instrumentation across Australia since the 1980s. With significant growth over the past five years, they are expanding their small but high-performing team to meet increased growth.
About the opportunity
They are seeking a dedicated Service Coordinator to join their team! This rare opportunity is perfect for someone looking to forage a long-term career and contribute to their ongoing success within this fascinating field.
General duties of the role will include:
Coordinating the servicing and calibration of water quality meters and other instrumentation.
Assisting in the assembly of imported water quality meters.
Producing quotations for service/calibration of equipment.
Collaborating with the warehouse team to manage stock and provide support as needed.
Extensive training for the above duties shall be carried out in-house.
This is not an exhaustive list of duties as the right person will have the opportunity to gain exposure to other functions across the business and to further contribute as their experience and confidence grows.
