Our client, Havwoods Australia, is a leading global specialist uniquely placed to provide customers with premium flooring solutions for residential and commercial applications. Known for their innovation and forward thinking, they have an extensive and loyal network of customers which include 1000’s of architects, interior designers and builders.
With expansion plans we are currently seeking a Senior Sales Executive to join their inside sales team in the Rutherford Head Office. We are looking for passionate and dedicated sales professionals who strive to delight clients and who have a proven track record of meeting sales targets.
  
About this role
As a Senior Sales Executive, you will bring the Havwoods’ values of integrity, quality, collaboration and high performance to life by interacting with clients over the phone to deliver an exceptional client experience and to contribute to sales revenue.
Reporting to the Sales Director, you will be an enthusiastic, ambitious and results driven experienced sales professional with the desire to build upon your existing industry contacts to meet and exceed sales targets. As part of the role, you will identify new opportunities, qualify existing leads, develop relationships with prospective specifiers, generate quotes, follow-up opportunities and convert to sales. Career progression is definitely possible for the right person to move into a lead capacity, where you would become a Sales Sector Lead and mentor junior sales staff.

About you
We are seeking a special someone who has:

  • Demonstrated sales experience in meeting individual sales targets

  • Ambition to lead a sales team, accountable for results as a leader

  • Worked within the Building/Design industry previously and understand the specifier relationships

  • Extensively dealt with and closed opportunities over the phone

  • Proficient use of CRMs and Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel & Outlook)

  • Familiar with sales reporting and understanding pipeline and the numbers that drive sales

  • Experience or an ability to mentor Junior Sales staff

  • Track record of providing quality advice and guidance on product selections, and a desire to continually build upon your product knowledge
