About the opportunity

The Senior Business Coordinator works in close partnership with the Chief Executive Officer and Mosaic’s management team to coordinate and lead business support functions that allow for a seamless, smooth operating rhythm across the organisation. This role includes the provision of secretariat and administrative support to the Chief Executive Officer and the Board of Directors.

Key duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Executive Support: Provide high-level administrative and workflow support to the CEO and Board, including diary management, meeting preparation, and governance implementation.

  • Leadership and Coordination: Lead and mentor a small team, ensuring efficient office operations and exceptional customer service to internal and external clients.

  • Business Improvement: Identify and lead business improvement initiatives, coordinating special projects to enhance operational efficiency.

  • Event Coordination: Plan and execute company events, trips, and celebrations, ensuring seamless organisation and execution.

  • Additionally, you will be focused on proactively identifying ways in which you and your team can add value across the organisation.

About you

Alongside your exceptional administrative skills and business support capabilities, you will also align with Mosaics core values and mission, to support and inspire culturally diverse people and communities to overcome barriers and thrive!

To excel in this role, you will:

  • Have experience within a similar role providing high level administrative support to business leaders.

  • Consider yourself an expert at managing executive workflows and following up on actionable items.

  • Be agile and adaptable to meet evolving business needs.

  • Capable of leading, mentoring, and coordinating office resources.

  • Experience organising company events including travel arrangement.

  • Strong corporate governance knowledge and understanding will be highly regarded.

  • Have a valid NSW Drivers License.

Candidates with tertiary qualifications in Business or a related discipline will be highly regarded as well as experience working in the Not-For-Profit or Community Sector. If this sounds like you, we would love to have a chat!
