  • Casual Hourly Rate of $45.00 - $48.00 + superannuation depending on experience

  • 6 Week Duration

  • Full-Time Hours

Our client, based in Charlestown, is seeking a Rostering Coordinator to join their Aged Care team. This is a full-time role with an immediate commencement and an estimated duration of 6 weeks.
  
Proven experience is required as this role involves the development, maintenance, and distribution of rosters in accordance with the set care plans. In addition, you will provide administration support to the aged care team.
  
Duties will include:

  • Develop, maintain, and distribute rosters of Care Support Workers in accordance with participant needs as outlined by care plans of clients, to ensure continuity of care across participants and compliance with industrial awards. 

  • Ensure appropriate notification and communication of roster changes to Support Workers where required.

  • Monitor and report any issues regarding rostering to Coordinators and Aged Care Manager, including but not limited to fatigue management and safe work hours.

  • Respond to roster enquiries from clients and Care Support Workers in a timely and professional manner, providing solutions to rostering issues where possible and escalating rostering issues to the Aged Care Manager where required.

  • Report on shift changes, absenteeism and non-compliance with the roster to the Aged Care Manager.

  • Accurately record leave in the relevant systems.

  • Provide prompt, consistent, and accurate administration support to Coordinators, including but limited to:

  • Collating invoices and statements for client distribution;

  • Uploading and filing documents into the Client Management System

  • Other general administration duties as required. 

  • Attend and participate in team meetings.

  • Take reasonable care of your own health and safety and take reasonable care that your acts or omissions do not adversely affect the health and safety of other employees or clients.

  • Ensure appropriate and respectful workplace behaviour at all times and promote a working environment that is free from discrimination, bullying and harassment. 

  • Undertake any other tasks, duties or specific projects within your area of skill and expertise, as required by Mosaic.

Ideal experience:

  • Experience in a non-for-profit sector

  • Experience with working with culturally and linguistically diverse communities

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Proven Rostering Experience, ideally in aged care

  • Strong computer literacy

  • Experience working with client database programs

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Initiative within the scope and function of the role

  • Collaboration to help achieve common goals

  • Customer service skills for internal and external stakeholders

  • Commitment to excellence, safety, excellence and improvement
