Job Description

Our client, Westrac, a leading specialist in equipment management solutions in the mining and construction industries is seeking an experienced Recruiter to join their growing team in their Tomago office. Starting Mid-January 2022, this role will be for a minimum of 6 months with the possibility of extension. 
  
About the role

In this critical role, you will be accountable for the management of end-to-end recruitment and selection process of trades people across NSW. Partnering with the operational areas as well as the broader People team, you will meet agreed service levels for internal and external stakeholders for all recruitment and selection activities.
  
Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • End-to-end recruitment and selection activities

  • Stakeholder liaison, working closely with hiring managers to determine recruitment needs

  • Recruitment administration including strong adherence to documented processes

  • Providing recommendations for continuous improvement opportunities  

  • Compliance to procedures relating safety to contribute to a strong safety culture

About you

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Recruitment or Human Resources administration experience

  • Experience in a fast faced recruitment environment with experience in the resource industry desirable  

  • Excellent organisational and administration skills, and excellent attention to detail

  • Experience in Microsoft suite, experience in Page Up advantageous but not essential

  • Demonstrated ability to influence and develop effective relationships with key stakeholders

  • The ability to be open and receptive to feedback and development opportunities as well as being opportunity and improvement focused
