About the opportunity
As the Recruitment & Onboarding Coordinator, you’ll play a pivotal role in Strike Force Services’ internal HR team. Focusing on delivering high-quality hiring outcomes while working with current processes and identifying opportunities to elevate recruitment strategies and enhance talent attraction. You’ll be focused on reaching recruitment targets, accurately and efficiently completing onboarding tasks and partnering closely with other members of the HR team to support ongoing growth.
This newly created position has come about due to Strike Force’s exciting expansion… and growth will continue to be a key focus of the role. You’ll take the lead in managing the end-to-end recruitment process, with a strong emphasis on continuous improvement, while supporting a high volume of roles within the blue-collar sector.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify workforce requirements
Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes, including advertising, screening, offers, inductions, and compliance
Contribute to strategic workforce planning and build strong relationships with key stakeholders
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in recruitment and onboarding practices
Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, industrial awards, and company policies
Provide mentorship and support to the wider team where required
Ensure accuracy across all recruitment and onboarding documentation to support compliance and efficient hiring processes
About you
We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Recruitment and Onboarding professional who thrives in a busy, fast-paced environment. Your strong relationship-building skills and ability to manage competing demands will be critical to your success.
Demonstrated experience within a high volume, fast paced recruitment role, ideally working with a large blue-collar workforce
An ability to look outside the box when it comes to recruitment initiatives and leverage current and future relationships to assist with candidate sourcing
A high level of attention to detail
Strong planning, organisational, and administrative skills
Excellent multitasking, prioritisation and problem-solving abilities
A professional, friendly and supportive approach with a passion for helping others succeed
Experience with Employment Hero is highly desirable, as well as proficiency in induction platforms such as Damstra, Avetta, and similar sites.
A solid understanding of employment compliance and award interpretation
