About the opportunity

As part of the leadership team with direct access and influence with the Directors, reporting to the Construction Manager, this role presents an excellent opportunity to showcase your Project Management skills, provide strong leadership, promote engagement, and work with an organisation committed to their people and clients. 

You will bring your experience and ambition to provide comprehensive management of all projects.  This will include managing project plans, scope definition, timelines, quality definition, assurance, and financial control. You will ensure projects are delivered within agreed quality, cost and schedule, maintaining agreed project management standards and consistency, ensuring delivery achieves all client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set clear target program objectives for the project team, monitor performance and productivity.

  • Program Management, ensure all claimable extensions are identified and administered

  • Ensure commercial risks and opportunities are identified and managed.

  • Build strong client relationships and undertake stakeholder engagement.

  • Manage site safety and environmental compliance

  • Ensure overall management and QA across the project.

  • Manage, train and lead all Site Engineers, Project Engineers and Senior Project Engineers.

  • Preparation of tender, estimates & associated documentation

  • Prepare and provide regular reports regarding Project status, financial and safety performance and Project documentation.

About you

We are seeking candidates who have:

  • Tertiary education in Civil Engineering with experience in Transport and infrastructure.

  • Be able to work remotely on-site within NSW.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Effective interpersonal communication and proven ability to lead a team.

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with strong commercial acumen.

  • Proactive safety culture and ability to engage and empower workforce.

  • A proven ability to prioritise, manage time, meet deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced dynamic environment.

  • Ability to operate in an environment of accountability, autonomy and reliability.
