6-month temporary part-time opportunity with potential to extend
Join a values-driven, operationally focused organisation as their Payroll Specialist. This role is perfect for an experienced payroll professional seeking a flexible, hybrid part-time position.
The Role:
6-month temporary opportunity with view to extension, part-time 2–3 days per week (must be available Wednesdays and Thursdays)
Hybrid work model – a mix of office and remote work
Immediate start
Key Responsibilities:
Process fortnightly payroll for 200–500 employees
Manage payroll tax, month-end reporting, and reconciliations
Interpret awards and enterprise agreements confidently
Collaborate closely with HR to ensure seamless operations
Use Employment Hero and Excel proficiently
Support accounts receivable tasks during non-payroll weeks
About You:
You’ll be a team player who thrives under deadlines and delivers accurate, high-quality work. You'll bring:
A minimum of 5 years' experience in end-to-end payroll processing
Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, including Fair Work and modern awards
Previous use of Employment Hero and the Microsoft Office suite
Experience within a commercial, medium-to-large organisation
