About the role
The position of Payroll Officer is a 12-month fixed term contract initially and is responsible for assisting in the payroll function for approximately 500 employees on a weekly basis. Working Monday and Tuesday, you will assist in preparing the weekly payroll function and assist with accounts payable and receivable, where necessary.

About you
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Experience in payroll processing
- Demonstrated experience working with multiple awards and/or enterprise agreements
- Demonstrated experience with computerised payroll packages
- Proficiency in the use of Excel
- Excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy working effectively within a team environment
- Systems orientated
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- High degree of discretion, integrity, and confidentiality
- A can-do attitude and a willingness to help where needed
- Strive for quality in all that you do
