About the opportunity
Our client is seeking a career-minded Paraplanner who’s keen to build on their existing skills and take real steps toward becoming a Financial Planner. The successful candidate will be joining a supportive, down-to-earth team that values collaboration, enjoys working together, and genuinely encourages professional growth through ongoing learning and mentorship.
This hands-on role offers the chance to deepen your compliance knowledge, technical skills, and client service expertise. Key responsibilities include:
Researching client data and drafting strategy recommendations
Preparing and processing documentation for client reviews, strategic advice, investments, and insurance applications
Implementing advice recommendations under the guidance of the Financial Planner
Managing client review processes, coordinating meetings, and overseeing workflow
Preparing and delivering ongoing service agreements
Liaising with clients, superannuation funds, and product providers
Entering client data into XPLAN for advice preparation
Maintaining accurate, compliant client records
About you

Whether you're a recent graduate with some in-house experience or an experienced Paraplanner seeking a clear pathway to becoming a Financial Planner, this role offers a genuine career opportunity within a supportive, friendly, and growth-focused business.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Paraplanner role
Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Financial Services, or a related discipline
Strong compliance focus and attention to detail
Analytical mindset with critical thinking and problem-solving ability
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with XPLAN desirable
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Organised with effective time management and the ability to meet deadlines
Interest in ongoing professional development
Passion for client service and delivering high-quality advice
Currently undertaking or considering undertaking an Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning, or Certificate IV in Financial Services, or similar.
