About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Office Manager to join PBE’s Tomago-based team. This is a hands-on role where you will be the first point of contact for employees and will lead, mentor and support the administrative team. In this role, you will champion efficient operations and be a positive contributor to the organisation’s culture and collaborative working environment!
Key Responsibilities
Manage the administrative team, providing leadership, coaching, support and direction.
Oversee and maintain company documentation and filing systems to support the integrity of accounting and other business systems, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
Support the Finance team, including credit card reconciliations, data entry and reporting as required.
Provide reporting support for workshops and projects, as well as develop operational reports for management.
Coordinate routine facility maintenance and manage service providers for general upkeep, urgent repairs and other facility-related requirements.
Provide administrative and sales support, assisting the Business Development, Procurement and Operations teams.
Build strong, professional working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, demonstrating strong attention to detail and alignment with company policies and procedures.
About You

We’d love to hear from you if you bring:
A collaborative approach, with experience mentoring and upskilling an administration team.
A high level of professionalism and the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with stakeholders across the business.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in an Office Manager role within a large group, managing administrative staff.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and support stakeholders at all levels.
Strong multitasking and time management skills, with a confident and proactive approach with the ability to adapt quickly.
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, with strong experience in finance-related duties such as reconciliations, invoicing and expense claims.
A positive contribution to business culture, motivated by the shared success of both the team and the organisation.
Experience within manufacturing or infrastructure environments will be highly regarded.
Qualifications in Business Administration are desirable but not essential.
