About the Role

As a Mechanical Engineer, you’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting the delivery of specialised equipment and enclosures for major projects across power generation, resources, and infrastructure. This hands-on role will see you working from concept through to completion, collaborating with a team of engineers, project managers, and trades to deliver high-quality outcomes.
  
Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop mechanical systems and components for custom-built equipment and enclosures

  • Prepare detailed 3D models, drawings, and documentation for manufacturing

  • Support projects from concept through to delivery, ensuring technical and quality standards are met

  • Work closely with fabrication and production teams to resolve technical challenges

  • Liaise with project managers, suppliers, and clients to provide engineering support

  • Contribute to continuous improvement in design processes and standards

Skills and Experience

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)

  • Minimum 3 years experience in mechanical design within manufacturing, fabrication, or heavy industry

  • Strong skills in CAD (SolidWorks or similar) for 3D modelling and drafting

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities

  • Knowledge of fabrication processes, structural design, or enclosures (desirable)
