About the opportunity
This is a newly created opportunity to work in collaboration with the Chief Growth Officer, you will assist the CGO in developing, executing, and managing Varley Group and Varley Divisions (Defence, Special Vehicles, Services and Systems) go to market activities across digital, print and traditional marketing avenues. You will be part of a team that supports leaders and managers across the divisions to increase revenue and grow Varley’s brands adoration in current and new markets. Additionally, you will identify and manage channels, manage daily workflow, prioritise business marketing needs and lead the marketing requirements to create marketing material that stimulates customer engagement and grow sales.
This position best suits a person that is energised by building channels and looking for ways to support a diverse and established business. The person will initially gain context on the rich history of a highly successful business and overlay that with experience and expertise in marketing. The role requires great management and planning skills and a person who naturally displays a “can do” attitude, if you have a passion for driving organisational performance and have the ability to communicate professionally, pragmatically and with influence we look forward to speaking with you.
To be shortlisted for this role you will show proven ability to create, execute and manage marketing activities, marketing campaigns, marketing calendars, and produce meaningful data and results and present this to the business leaders. You will be confident and enjoy communicating, negotiating, and influencing across a diverse range of stakeholders.
