An exciting opportunity awaits a skilled legal professional to join a growing in-house legal team and deliver quality legal support across a wide range of corporate and commercial matters. Reporting to the Legal & Contracts Manager, you will play a pivotal role in providing reliable, precise, and practical legal advice to professionals across the business. Your work will span client-based matters as well as the operational needs of the organisation, with a focus on contractual risk management and compliance.
Key responsibilities
Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating consulting contracts within agreed timeframes.
Analysing contract requirements and provisions to manage risk and ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies.
Contributing to contract improvement, training, compliance initiatives, and risk mitigation strategies.
Aligning contracts with business goals and objectives.
Coordinating contract negotiations, amendments, and addendums while ensuring key deadlines are met.
Identifying and implementing improvements to policies, procedures, and tools for contract management and reporting.
About you
To succeed in this role, you will have:
Bachelor of Laws (LLB).
At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role, with strong commercial and contract law expertise in a project-oriented environment.
A sound understanding of Australian corporate legal, governance, and contract management frameworks.
The ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment with exceptional organisational and analytical skills.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure without compromising quality.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with a range of stakeholders.
