A strong on-site presence is essential to build credibility, influence, and alignment across the business.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide strategic HR input into group and business unit planning and execution

  • Own Enterprise Agreement strategy, bargaining processes and IR governance

  • Lead complex industrial relations matters, including conciliations and arbitration

  • Drive major organisational change, restructure and workforce transformation programs

  • Oversee workplace investigations, ensuring robust, compliant and timely execution

  • Lead annual people programs including workforce planning, succession planning, engagement and performance cycles

  • Act as a trusted senior advisor to leaders on ER, IR, performance, engagement and retention strategies

  • Develop and lead a high-performing HR team through coaching, mentoring and capability uplift

  • Drive continuous improvement in HR systems, processes and reporting

  • Ensure strong alignment to Ampcontrol values, safety culture and HSEQ expectations

  • Utilise data and reporting platforms to measure outcomes and inform decision making

About you:

This role suits a senior HR leader with strong industrial credibility, commercial acumen, and an operational mindset. You will bring:

  • Degree in HR, Business or similar

  • Extensive experience in senior HR leadership or HR Business Partnering roles

  • Deep expertise in Industrial Relations, Enterprise Agreements and complex ER matters

  • Demonstrated success leading organisational change, restructure and transformation programs

  • Experience within industrial, manufacturing, engineering, mining or heavy industry environments

  • A confident, visible and pragmatic leadership style

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and leadership influencing capability

  • Proven experience leading and developing high-performing HR teams

  • Strong analytical capability with the ability to use data and insights to drive performance

This is a rare opportunity to step into a high-impact HR leadership role with genuine scale and influence, shaping Ampcontrol’s people strategy, culture and organisational performance during a critical phase of growth.
