About you
We’re looking for a hands-on leader and new business “rain maker” who can balance strategic thinking with practical execution. With a collaborative style and a background ideally in a service-based industry, you’ll bring the energy and focus needed to drive growth while maintaining momentum. Positive and solutions-focused, you’ll thrive on uncovering opportunities, building strong relationships, and shaping long-term success. This could suit someone currently in a senior business development role who is ready to take the next step into senior leadership. You will bring a passion for generating new cashflow, by expanding into new geographies and diversifying into additional market segments.
What you will bring:
Proven background in sales, market diversification, and business development, ideally within a service-based environment.
Experience leading tender responses from end to end, with the resilience to seek and act on feedback to strengthen future submissions.
Demonstrated success in executing business plans, with the ability to balance short-term delivery (such as a 90-day plan) while shaping long-term growth strategies.
Strong commercial acumen, with a track record of achieving and exceeding business development targets, and the ability to identify, validate, and prioritise growth opportunities across government and non-government sectors.
Outstanding communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build credibility, trust, and lasting relationships at all levels.
Collaborative, solutions-focused leadership style - able to partner with internal stakeholders to align efforts and maximise opportunities.
