About the company
Phoenix Foundry is a well-established bronze memorial plaque manufacturer with a strong reputation for quality and craftsmanship. As the business continues to grow and expand its operations, a newly created opportunity has emerged for an experienced Foundry Manager to lead its non-ferrous foundry function.
This is a key leadership role within the business, responsible for operational performance, team leadership and maintaining high safety and quality standards.
About the opportunity
Reporting to senior leadership, the Foundry Manager will oversee all aspects of the foundry operation, including:
Melting, moulding, pouring and finishing processes
Production planning and scheduling
Resource allocation and stock management
Quality assurance and process improvement
Safety compliance and best practice implementation
Leadership of supervisors and production personnel
This role requires both technical depth and strong hands-on operational leadership capability.
About you
To be considered, you will demonstrate:
Qualification as a Metallurgist, Patternmaker or Moulder
Minimum five years’ experience leading a non-ferrous foundry
Strong understanding of production processes and optimisation
Proven safety leadership within a manufacturing environment
Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives
Clear communication skills and the ability to lead and motivate a team
This is a practical leadership role suited to someone who understands foundry operations at a technical level and can lead from the front.
