About the opportunity
The Financial Controller reports to the CEO and is responsible for managing the organisation’s financial and accounting operations and team. This role will add value to the business owners and business leaders by providing quality insights and data to ensure business decisions can be successfully made in line with the business strategy. The role allows for a person who is suited to working on strategy and delivering meaningful and accountable data by leading and managing a high performing team.
About you
As the link between financial operations and strategy, your role would include developing financial strategy, including risk minimisation, and opportunity identification and implementation. You will manage the accounting, payroll, and finance departments including mentoring and developing staff as well as managing internal and external stakeholder relationships. You will act as the conduit between external market data, industry trends, internal results and business performance and have the skills to map the linkage back to the strategic plan and budget and provide an executive summary to your stakeholders.
