Location: On-site in Maitland and Raymond Terrace
Commencement: Immediate start, pending required checks
Casual Hourly Rate: $46.69 per hour + Super
Duration: 10-month temporary position
Hours: 5-day fortnight (Week A: 2 days & Week B: 3 days) Monday and Friday are required.
Pre-Employment Screening: 2 x COVID Vaccinations, WWCC, NDIS Screening Check, and a National Police Check.

About the Opportunity
We are seeking a passionate Customer Service Officer to join our clients team for an immediate start. The role will be for a 10-month duration with the potential for extension. You’ll work on a 5-day fortnight schedule, with required workdays on Monday and Friday (Week A: 2 days, Week B: 3 days). The role is primarily located in Maitland and you may be required to work in the Raymond Terrace office on occasion.
In this pivotal role, you will be the first point of contact, managing high-volume customer queries both over the phone and face-to-face on their front counter. Your responsibilities will include providing advice on account enquiries, taking payments, triaging repairs & maintenance and tenancy management issues all whilst ensuring a customer-centric approach.
Working within the Community Housing space can be challenging, so we're looking for someone who has experience working within a high-volume call centre environment, displaying resilience and adaptability in their every move.
The successful candidate will have:
Proven experience in customer service in a high-volume work environment
Ability to relate to people from diverse social and cultural backgrounds
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage sensitive issues
Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office software
Required Pre-Employment Screening:

Working with Children Check
NDIS Screening Check
National Police Check.
