Customer & Patient Support Opportunities

Temp to perm options | $38/hr + super | Free parking & daily lunch provided

Looking to make a meaningful impact in healthcare while working with a supportive and professional team? This specialist healthcare group is seeking compassionate, detail-focused team members to join them across two key roles:

  • Receptionist

  • Clinic Assistant

Both roles start on a casual basis with strong potential to become permanent for the right person

Receptionist Location: Newcastle
Hours: 3–4 days per week (with flexibility to cover 5 days)
Shifts: Span of hours between 6:30 am–5:00 pm
Start Date: ASAP
Rate: $38/hr + super | Free parking + lunch

What you’ll do:

  • Welcome and check in patients for eye surgery

  • Perform fund and ID checks and prepare patient files for theatre

  • Coordinate admissions and post-operative documentation

  • Rotate between front desk, patient-facing and administrative duties

  • Support approx. 30–40 patients per day, mostly in morning peak periods

Clinic Assistant Locations: Across 3 clinics
Hours: 38–40 hours over 4 days per week (some early starts/late finishes)
Type: Casual initially, with potential to transition to permanent
Rate: $38/hr + super | Free parking + lunch 

What you’ll do:

  • Greet patients and prepare them for consultations

  • Perform vision testing, intraocular pressure checks & imaging

  • Record medical histories and results in Genie software

  • Assist doctors and nurses with daily clinic flow

  • Maintain clinic cleanliness and equipment setup

  • Flexible to travel across clinic locations (for Clinic role) and adapt to rotating rosters
