About the opportunity
We are seeking a motivated recent graduate who is eager to kick-start their commercial career in a high-profile, fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for someone with up to 1–2 years of relevant experience—through previous roles, internships, or university projects—who is ready to develop strong commercial expertise and make a meaningful contribution from day one.
In this position, you will support key activities across commercial strategy, pricing, and investment analysis to help drive business growth and value creation. Working closely with teams across Business Development, Finance, Legal, and Operations, you’ll gain hands-on experience in financial modelling, commercial insights, and the development of strategic recommendations.
This is a collaborative, highly visible role suited to someone with strong analytical skills, a curious mindset, and the confidence to engage with stakeholders as you learn and grow.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the development and implementation of commercial strategies and investment plans, gaining valuable exposure to real-world commercial decision-making.
Support pricing analysis, benchmarking activities, and the roll-out of pricing policies.
Contribute to the preparation of financial models and business cases to assess investment opportunities.
Analyse trade volumes, revenue trends, and other data to support strategic insights and recommendations.
Work collaboratively across teams to support projects and initiatives that drive business outcomes.
Prepare reports, presentations, and briefing materials for senior leaders.
About you
Recently completed tertiary qualifications in Economics, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline.
Strong analytical and financial modelling capabilities, with the ability to interpret data and draw insights.
Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders.
Curious, proactive, and comfortable solving problems in a commercial environment.
Experience or internships related to regulatory pricing or infrastructure investment are a bonus—but not required.
An interest in the maritime, port, transport, or resources sectors is advantageous.
Why Join?
Gain exposure to strategic commercial projects and decision-making.
Collaborate with senior stakeholders across multiple teams.
Opportunity to develop your skills and progress your career in a commercially-focused role.
