About the opportunity
   
We are seeking a Commercial Analyst to join a dynamic, growing organisation. This role plays a key part in supporting commercial strategy, pricing, and investment analysis, contributing to business growth and value creation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Business Development, Finance, Legal, and Operations to provide commercial insights, financial modelling, and strategic recommendations.
This is a highly visible, collaborative role that requires strong analytical skills, commercial acumen, and the ability to influence stakeholders.
   
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and implementation of commercial strategy and investment plans. 
- Assist with pricing analysis, benchmarking, and implementation of pricing policies. 
- Build financial models and business cases to evaluate investment opportunities. 
- Analyse trade volumes, revenues, and other data to inform strategic decisions. 
- Support projects and initiatives across teams to deliver business objectives. 
- Prepare reports, briefings, and presentations for senior management. 
About you
- Tertiary qualifications in Economics, Finance, Commerce, or related discipline, minimum bachelor’s degree. 
- Strong financial analysis and modelling skills. 
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing abilities. 
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills with commercial awareness. 
- Experience in regulatory pricing or infrastructure investment is desirable but not essential. 
- Appreciation of the maritime, port, transport, or resources industries is advantageous. 
Graduate Opportunity: This role may also suit a recent graduate with 1–2 years of relevant experience looking to build commercial expertise in a high-profile environment.
