About the role of CEO  
The CEO is responsible for collaborating with the Board of Directors to set and execute strategic direction which ensures organisational growth, effectiveness and sustainability. As the CEO of Challenge, you will provide a collaborative leadership approach for the diverse, multi-skilled team of highly committed individuals and continue to enhance the organisation through the individuals that genuinely make a difference to the lives of their clients every day. 
  
About you!
You will have significant experience in managing the competing needs of multiple stakeholders ranging from government agencies, service delivery professionals, community and team members of an organsiation with 500+ employees.
  
The successful CEO candidate will be able to demonstrate the following experience and attributes:

  • Prior executive management leadership of an organisation with 500+ employees;

  • Strategic planning and operational business plans expertise for an organisation with diverse services and geographical locations;

  • Well developed, successful stakeholder relationships ideally with officials at various levels of government;

  • Leadership of annual budget preparation across the organisation and established measures for regular review of business performance;

  • Beyond reproach ethical, transparent standards in a highly regulated organisation with complex accreditation and reporting requirements;

  • A community-centric, national perspective of an organisation delivering quality services to community;

  • High-order communication skills (written, verbal, and influencing); and

  • Minimum of undergraduate University qualifications.


Leadership of a medium to large organisation delivering disability and/or foster care services is desirable, however first and foremost we are seeking a CEO who is a naturally collaborative leader, across diverse stakeholder groups, and inspires the team through their authentic, humble approach.  
  
National Police Check, Working With Children Check, NDIS Worker Check and Covid Vaccination are requirements of the position.
