About the opportunity
A highly respected professional services firm in Greater Newcastle is seeking a strategic and hands-on Business Manager to drive business performance across operations, finance, people, and growth. This position reports to four Company Directors and plays a pivotal role in driving performance across strategy, finance, HR, marketing, compliance, and day-to-day operations.
This is a great opportunity to step into a leadership role with scope to influence, modernise systems, lead high-performing teams, and contribute to the long-term success of one of the region’s most respected firms.
The successful candidate will be responsible for strategic execution, financial oversight with a key focus on people leadership, and continuous improvement of business operations. Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and commercial acumen are essential.

What We’re Looking For:
Leadership experience in operations, finance, or general management
Professional services background strongly preferred
Proven track record in driving strategy, mentoring teams, and overseeing complex business functions
Strong financial and commercial acumen
Hands-on, solutions-oriented, and confident in leading change
Exceptional interpersonal, time management, and organisational skills
