Are you an experienced admin professional with a background in the building or construction industry? Our client, a locally owned and operated business is known for delivering high-quality projects from concept through to completion and is looking for a Part-Time Administration Assistant to join their close-knit team.

About the Role

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Administrative Assistant to support project delivery across the full lifecycle, from customer enquiry to construction coordination.  Some of the key responsibilities will include:
  • Answering phones, monitoring enquiries, and ensuring great customer service.
  • Creating job folders, filing plans and documentation, and managing warranties.
  • Supporting the approvals and certification process, including booking inspections, liaising with certifiers, and submitting documentation.
  • Assisting with construction scheduling by sending plans to contractors, booking concrete, and tracking progress.
  • Helping with finance admin, such as processing invoices and supporting bank reconciliations.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Previous admin experience in the building or construction industry is essential.
  • A proactive, organised and detail focused mindset.
  • Friendly and professional communication skills.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Knowledge of MYOB whilst not essential, would be beneficial.
  • A willingness to learn, especially around approvals and certification processes.
