Our client Prosperity Advisers is an award-winning mid-tier accounting and business advisory firm with a diverse client base and access to a national and global network. They have a team of over 150 and offices located in Brisbane, Sydney and Newcastle. Prosperity are now looking to appoint an additional Manager & Senior Accountant in their Business Services & Taxation Team in the Newcastle office which overlooks the beautiful harbour in the Newcastle CBD. This role will appeal to individuals who are energised by working closely with clients to be able to understand their business firsthand to then put their goals and ambitions at the centre of what you do. Working closely with the Director of Business Services & Taxation, Megan Smith, you will be supported to take ownership for clients' business service matters including ensuring their compliance requirements are met and manage the workflow of others to meet deadlines. In return, you will be provided with a platform and the resources you need to shine in this role including flexible working practices.
To be successful in this role you will be:
- Degree and CA qualified (or close to finishing CA program)
- 5+ years' Business Services experience with previous exposure to a diverse client base
- Self-motivated and able to develop to bring the best out of those you work closely with
- Naturally organised with a strong desire to do what you say you will
