Located in the Newcastle CBD, our client is a well-respected, local organisation delivering vital services to our community. Due to internal staff progression and growth, a position has become available for a digital savvy, Customer Service Specialist to join the team. This will initially be on a full time casual on hire basis but for the right candidate there is a potential for the role to move onto a contract basis for up to a 3-year period.
The key focus of this position is to provide superior customer service both internally and externally and day-to-day duties will include:
- Responding to customer calls and complaints
- Manning web chat function
- Responding to email enquiries
- Recording and maintaining relevant information on corporate information systems
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to resolve customer-related issues.
To be considered, you will have a natural flair for customer engagement, highly developed written skills and the drive to deliver first contact resolution. You will thrive in a high volume, high pressure environment with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with a diverse customer base.
To be considered you will need to be available for 7.5 hours shifts between the hours of 7.00am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday. Immediate start is available for the right candidate.
