We are excited to partner with Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours (Scenic) to recruit 18 permanent full-time Reservations Specialists, with an additional 2 positions for fluent mandarin-speaking candidates, to join Scenic’s Newcastle-based Reservations Centre with a start date of 20th September.

About the opportunity & the Scenic experience!
As a Reservations Specialist you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service whilst managing inbound phone and email enquiries. These positions require commitment to delivering high-quality experiences, ensuring guests needs are met with professionalism and courtesy. An exceptional experience for the Scenic guest starts, before their journey even begins.
The Contact Centre operates Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 6:15pm, and Saturdays from 9am to 1pm. We are seeking candidates for a 38-hour workweek, including one Saturday shift per 3-week roster rotation.
Key responsibilities
Manage inbound and outbound calls to book passengers on cruises and land journeys, answer enquiries, and provide detailed information about itineraries and products.
Process reservations accurately and efficiently, ensuring all required customer details and preferences are recorded and addressed with the focus to minimise wait and hold times.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless travel experience for guests.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Scenic Group product portfolio, promotions, and policies.
About you
You’re passionate about the quality of Scenic’s offerings and enthusiastic about creating exceptional guest experiences.
Previous experience in customer service is essential, with experience in the travel industry or personal luxury travel experience being highly desirable.
An inquisitive problem solver; you ask the right questions to understand what guests want and make recommendations to excite and delight guests.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are a must, with the ability to engage professionally with a diverse client base.
