About the company
DASH (Disability Advocacy Support Hotline) is a new and exciting national pilot program that is being established by Disability Advocacy (DA).

DA is part of Advocacy Law Alliance (ALA) and provides high quality social and legal advocacy and support to people with disability across a wide geographical area, with a commitment to supporting people in regional, rural and remote communities. Their focus is to empower clients to navigate the social and legal systems and achieve fair outcomes in pursuit of their goals.

DASH is a new service that will provide short-term advocacy and referral support to clients. DASH will coordinate with the National Disability Gateway and other Australian disability advocacy providers and will be progressively rolled out in stages nationally over the next three years. The program is funded by the Commonwealth Department of Social Services which hopes, subject to an evaluation, to see the pilot extend and grow beyond 2025.

You will be joining a supportive, inclusive, and client-focused team with the support and expertise of professionals (lawyers, social workers, disability workers) to achieve the best outcomes for disadvantaged clients.

About the role
The Program Manager is a new role that requires a senior and skilled leader. The role is responsible for the management of the national pilot program, development of policy and procedures, leadership and development of a small team of specialist advocates, as well as the delivery of the day-to-day operational requirements of the newly formed service. • Work collaboratively with the broader DA and ALA team to ensure compliance with relevant policy, procedures, and guidelines as well as all regulatory requirements
  • Prepare and manage all reporting as required for senior management regarding the newly formed services performance and deliverables
