Our client, Havwoods Australia, is a leading global specialist uniquely placed to provide customers with premium flooring solutions for residential and commercial applications. Known for their innovation and forward thinking, they have an extensive and loyal network of customers which include 1000’s of architects, interior designers and builders. With their headquarters in Rutherford we are currently seeking a full time Marketing Lead to join their team to help deliver end to end planning, development and delivery of high quality marketing outcomes. Ideally this role is based in Newcastle CBD in their high-end customer showroom, however has the option to be in Rutherford.
About this role
Reporting to the Managing Director, this newly developed role will be required to continue to build the profile and reputation of the business through the engagement of customers and stakeholders through strong brand presentation and high quality and engaging content.
Whilst leading a small team, you will be responsible for the digital brand footprint, developing and sharing content that will continue to build a brand of distinction. This is a true hands-on marketing role, however you will also act as an advisor to the Managing Director, to assist with digital strategies and activities with a wide reach, including content development for the website, social media and other publications.
Additionally, you will also be responsible for leading a small team of marketing professionals, leading to ensure the team delivers optimal outcomes for the business.
We are seeking candidates who have:
Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline.
Demonstrated experience in content creation producing web, digital and traditional marketing and media content.
Experience writing, editing and reviewing high quality content with creative flair and excellent attention to detail.
A demonstrated ability to work cooperatively and engage successfully with a range of stakeholders.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence, and someone with a passion to deliver a great customer experience and high quality work.
