About the opportunity

Due to continued growth, we are looking for an ambitious HR professional to lead and manage the HR function across the business. In this solo role based in their Sydney CBD head office, you will manage all aspects of the HR function, with an emphasis on embedding and optimizing new systems and processes into the culture of the business. This role is predominantly an operational role however requiring some strategic capability; there will be a strong continuous improvement focus as the HR function is relatively new.

About you
To be considered for this role you will have:

  • Be tertiary qualified in HR

  • 7+ years HR generalist experience

  • Experience in a solo role in a scale up or private equity backed organisation

  • Experience in embedding and optimising new HR systems such as Employment Hero and Job Adder

  • Experience creating, managing and delivering on Strategy

  • Experience compiling HR related data from a range of systems and processes

  • Experience contributing to, preparing, and presenting board reports and papers on occasion

  • Experience developing and implementing critical frameworks such as learning and development framework

You are likely to be a down-to-earth, purposeful individual, happy to roll up your sleeves and humble in your approach, preferring collaboration and engagement to get things done. You will feel confident in a solo role, not requiring hand-holding and comfortable within a scaling up environment. You will have a drive for optimization and continuous improvement and be able to tell us about previous successes you have had in this area.
