The Company
Strike Force Services is a fast-growing, Hunter born success story with an awesome head office base in Maitland CBD. The organisation has experienced year on year growth and have expanded their service delivery to other regions of NSW and into QLD. Strike Force Services employs over 440 people and provides facilities management and professional cleaning services across a range of sectors including mining, power stations, local councils, schools, industrial sites and healthcare.
Attributing to the success of Strike Force Services is their commitment to providing exceptional, reliable customer service, safe work practices and delivering on their promises. Off the back of sustainable business growth, the time has now come to create a new position of General Manager.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Managing Director, the General Manager will be an integral leadership position overseeing key operational functions in their service delivery areas of Integrated Services and Hygiene, as well as HR, Business Development and HSE. You will be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of the strategic operational plan.
The position will contribute at a broader executive level, by providing advice and decision-making capabilities and processes. As one of the leaders of the business, your exceptional communication skills will come to life as you work closely with the management team to develop business improvement initiatives and assist managers in execution of business plans.
About You
We’re looking for an inspirational leader with a strategic mindset, extensive experience of 5+ years in senior management preferably within a service-based industry. You will be able to demonstrate significant experience and a proven ability in developing leadership capability, capacity across a business and managing organisational change and business improvement.
Importantly, you will be commercially minded, be able to identify and assess feasible client contracts and have your finger on the pulse as to where business priorities should be.
