Sizeable organisation with agility and nimbleness

About the organisation
Strike Force Services is a Lower Hunter success story that may or may not be known to you, but rest assured many substantial size organisations trust them for their facilities management and large commercial cleaning contracts.
Strike Force head office is based in Maitland and from there they coordinate close to 500 employees representing Strikeforce across NSW and Queensland for both large commercial cleaning and broader facilities management and trades in sectors including mining, power stations, local councils, schools, industrial sites and healthcare.
About the role
Their facilities management arm has been developing more and more over the past 2 years and they have secured substantial contracts, with many more in the pipeline.
The department has reached a point that an operational lead position is now required to support the Manager of Integrated Services to ensure all trades and services are well organised and coordinated to execute on facilities management contracts, and clients are kept informed.
Other duties include:
Effective management and communication with the trades and facilities employees to ensure work is schedule and understood
Ensuring works are completed to a high standard, within set time frames and budgets
Making prompt and appropriate decisions based on priority of works to be undertaken
Monitoring performance against the KPIs of the client service delivery agreement
About you
As an experienced Facilities Manager or Project Manager, you will be passionate about always being one step ahead and having contingency plans in place to ensure clients’ expectations are exceeded. This includes being proactive in communicating updates on scope of works and projects and ensuring open and transparent relationships with a broad client base.
You may have come from a trades background but realised your strengths sit with coordinating diverse trades and suppliers and therefore have expanded your career into facilities or project management. You will enjoy managing multiple trades across multiple sites and keeping an eye on budgets to ensure work is performed within contractual arrangements.
