Neumann Space is an Australian space technology company based at Lot Fourteen in Adelaide. With a team of 10 engineers, we are developing, testing and soon commercialising an electric propulsion system for satellites and spacecraft. As we embark on a growth phase, we are now looking to expand our team with engineering, business and administration roles. We now have a need for a new staff member to work in the business and grow our maturity for business administration and office management.
  
The opportunity
We are looking for a dynamic, talented and enthusiastic Executive Assistant to provide timely, administrative and executive support to the CEO and act as a point of contact among employees, clients, other external partners and stakeholders, managing the information flow in a timely and accurate manner. This new role is diverse with other key areas of your role include the  coordination of travel, support for Board meetings, grant preparation and administration, business reporting, updating content on the website, and liaising with external providers to project manage marketing and events.

The ideal person
Space technology development is an international race and Neumann Space must be fast and agile. In a small multi-disciplinary team, we are not looking for passengers but for exceptionally driven candidates who want to leave their mark. You will fit into this environment if you are entrepreneurial, self-motivated, hands-on with a can-do attitude.
  
Ideal experience
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Executive support or in an Office Manager role
  • High-order communication skills (written, verbal and report-writing)
  • Experience writing and setting up procedures and policies
  • High level skills with MS Office products including SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Well-developed presentation and commercial acumen
  • High level organisational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Driven, self-motivated with an enhanced ability to work independently
  • Ability to drive accountability and excellence, exemplify the company culture
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and an ability to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Energy and enthusiasm, a team player
  • Clear sense of ownership and integrity, self-driven and committed to success
  • Experience supporting a Board (desirable)
  • Experience in preparation of grant submissions (desirable)
Australian Citizenship and COVID vaccination are requirements of the position
