$38 + super per hour
Are you an experienced Customer Service or Administration professional looking for an immediate temporary opportunity with full-time hours and a supportive team environment?
We are currently seeking Temporary Customer Service Officers to join a busy project team based onsite in the Lake Macquarie area for an initial 8-week assignment, (with the potential for an extension to 12 weeks), commencing on the 22nd of June.
These roles will support a high-volume inbound communication campaign and are ideally suited to candidates who thrive in structured environments, can manage competing priorities, and remain calm and professional when handling sensitive conversations.
The Opportunity
8-week temporary assignment (with the potential for an extension to 12 weeks)
Full-time hours Monday to Friday
Rotating roster between 7:00am – 7:00pm
Casual rate of $38 per hour + super
Commencing on the 22nd of June 2026
Onsite role based in Lake Macquarie
Key Responsibilities
Managing inbound phone enquiries through a centralised contact line
Responding to high volumes of emails and communication requests
Providing scripted responses and holding statements
Verifying identity details and updating records accurately
Maintaining information across spreadsheets and multiple systems
Monitoring and managing shared inboxes
Following established procedures and communication guidelines
Escalating complex matters where required
Assisting with additional administration support tasks as needed
About You
Previous experience in customer service, contact centre, administration or processing-based environments
Strong resilience and professionalism when managing distressed or challenging conversations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail and accurate data entry skills
Strong organisational and time management capabilities
The ability to follow structured processes and work within guidelines
Flexibility, adaptability and a team-focused approach
Additional Requirements
Current National Police Check less than 2 months old (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)
Availability to commence on the 22nd of June 2026
Ability to work full-time rotating roster hours between 7am–7pm
