Our client, Australian Financial Risk Management, have been a leader in the Australian Risk Advice Industry over the past 25 years. They have always been ahead of the game when it comes to changes in the insurance sector and their focus is always on improving benefits and enabling better claims outcomes.

About the opportunity
Working with a team of committed risk advisers and the role will support one adviser with a range of administration tasks. It is a fast paced workplace, and the chosen candidate will need to follow up with clients and insurers on a regular basis.
The role will involve:

  • General administrative support including typing and finalisation of correspondence.

  • Following up clients and insurers

  • Receiving and screening telephone calls

  • Assisting Directors and advisers by attending to requests

  • Scheduling appointments into adviser calendars

  • Updating insurance schedules

  • Assisting with gathering documents for client advice and insurance application and underwriting process  

About you
Ideally, we are looking for a person with:

  • Experience within the Financial Services or Banking sector

  • High level of attention to detail

  • Administration experience

  • Financial and Insurance experience would be great but not a must

  • Professionally presented

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite and Outlook

  • Willingness to learn all aspects of the business and a positive attitude

  • Desire to work within a great team

  • A passion for working with clients and helping people
