Job Description

ATB Morton Group is a privately owned Australian construction and industrial services organisation with more than 40 years of experience delivering integrated design, construction and industrial solutions across the Hunter Region and beyond. 
  
As the organisation continues to evolve and strengthen its governance maturity, opportunities now exist for an experienced Chairperson and Non-Executive Directors to join the Board and contribute to the next phase of strategic growth and long-term sustainability. 
  
These appointments will suit commercially astute leaders with strong governance capability and experience operating in complex, privately owned organisations, preferably in the industrial, construction, engineering or manufacturing environments. 
  
Key Focus Areas: 

  • Strategic oversight and governance leadership 

  • Commercial and financial stewardship 

  • Risk management and organisational performance 

  • Constructive support and challenge to executive leadership 

  • Board culture, stakeholder engagement and long-term sustainability 


About You 

  
You will bring: 

  • Previous experience as a Chairperson, Non-Executive Director or senior executive reporting to a Board 

  • Strong commercial and financial acumen 

  • An ability to operate strategically in complex business environments 

  • High levels of integrity, influence and independent judgement 

  • Experience within construction, industrial, engineering, manufacturing or asset-intensive sectors will be highly regarded 

We have a strong preference for you to be located within the Greater Hunter Valley region.
